We couldn't let November 11, 2011 ~ 11.11.11 go by without taking the time for a picture or twelve...

A recent visit (an annual tradition! YAY!) to Emma Krumbee's Apple Orchard & Pumpkin Patch had our son playing photographer...
One picture even included big sister with both parents!

Certainly not winning any glamour contests - but we are living in the moment and still taking random shots together!
Of course - I think the pic I managed of just him - on my cell phone no less - turned out FANTASTIC - but,
together - it's the most perfect place to be right?

This weekend was the annual Fire Muster ~
I had grand plans for the Fire Truck Parade, the Main Parade and so on and so forth...
Instead, about the only thing we hit were the Music & Fireworks with about 50 of our closest friends & neighbors...
Great fun was had by all...
Nearing the end of the night, I asked the hubs to take a pic of the kids and I for Project Me. Project You...
He snapped this...(surprise surprise - uncooperative little man...)

And then, one of the neighbor men told the hubs to hop in the photo, and he'd use my phone to grab a picture...
The hubs hopped in...and said neighbor/friend, not naming any names or anything here ANDY!! quickly snapped this one...
'got it on the first try' he said!
(Beer Goggles anyone?)
BWAHAHAHAAHAA!
ok...well, almost huh? You can sort of see our girl...
Thanks anyway! & Better luck next time! ;)

Edited to add...someone took my camera and snapped THIS photo below...
Ideal?
Nope...but definitely us...

Wow...
Has it really been a MONTH since I've had a Project Me. Project You photo to post?
Aye Aye Aye...
Well, forgive me...
We've been busy sending our first born off to KINDERGARTEN!
ack!
Here are a couple of early morning snap shots from the first day of school!

A couple of pics from National Night Out...
always a fun time in the cul de sac...
and the fine folks at Gold'n Plump sent some chicken hats to wear!
Who doesn't want to wear a paper chicken hat at the neighborhood night out?
HA!
Here's my girl trying to mimic the eyeballs of the chicken on her head!
All the kids loved them...(but look at the dog, looking out the patio window...he wanted nothing to do with our shananigans!)
Thanks for the fun hats Gold'n Plump!
