A spontaneous drive on Memorial Day and soon we found ourseleves walking around the MN Zoo -
Thank Heavens for that Annual Pass! That was our 2nd visit so now it's like all of the rest of the visits are FREE since our pass is good for twelve months!

(Daily admission is a bit on the steep side...but the annual pass -

two visits and it pays for itself! YAY!)

Definately not the warmest Memorial Weekend we've ever had...but we still made out it to the first Hasting's Car Show of the season...

And our boy even SMILED for a few pics with Mom! YAY!

Took the kids to see Pinkalicious at Stages Theater on a rare weekday daytime outing...got 2nd row seats this time...and everyone had fun! Hurray!

Valley Fair ~ Take II

We've already activated our season passes for Valley Fair - so going just one more time would make sure we more than got our money's worth...


In between the rain showers the other day, we decided to pop in a make another visit...

They don't look thrilled...


But that's just what happens when Mom asks to take a picture with the kiddos...

They really were happy - I promise!

We took advantage of the actual SUNday SUNshine and headed out to ValleyFair to activate our season passes...

Ah, yes...this is going to be FUN!

The kiddos and I were on our own for awhile today for Mother's Day ~
I attempted to keep myself a bit more distracted than usual, so as to feel no sadness, only joy...

And my little joys...while they did have fun...
They apparently wanted no photographic proof!

Some days they just aren't feeling the camera!
oh well!
